Our Treatment Programs

To Provide a Comprehensive,
Professional & Customized Approach to Recovery

Opioid Addiction

Treating Opioid Use Disorder is our area of expertise and the most specialized part of our practice. We offer confidential, personalized treatment of addiction to opioid prescription pills and heroin. Our office is private yet affordable, with compassionate Suboxone® (buprenorphine/naloxone) licensed physicians who listen carefully and provide the highest quality care. Evolve Addiction Medicine is focused on long term recovery. We are discreet and protect your privacy. During your time in our program, we help you gain the necessary tools to live free of drugs.

Suboxone® / Subutex®

Suboxone® or Subutex® is the evidence-based and best practice treatment of choice for Opioid Use Disorder. The main benefit to patients is its ability to eliminate opioid withdrawal sickness and reduce opioid cravings.

Alcohol Addiction

We offer in-office treatment for alcohol addiction with FDA approved medications. We also offer outpatient medical detoxification from alcohol in the privacy of our office, your home, hotel room, or the place of your choosing. Alcohol withdrawal is a dangerous medical condition and should be taken seriously. Evolve Addiction Medicine can help.

Benzodiazepine Addiction

We offer outpatient medical detoxification from benzodiazepines such as Xanax® (alprazolam), Valium®(diazepam), Ativan® (lorazepam), and Klonopin® (clonazepam). Successful benzodiazepine detoxification requires a slow taper over several months with regular office visits and close follow-up. Detoxification from benzodiazepines is difficult, but possible, and Evolve Addiction Medicine can help.

Cocaine Addiction

Cocaine addiction is a treatable disease, and there are a variety of medications which can be used successfully in combination with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). It CAN be overcome, and Evolve Addiction Medicine will help.

Methamphetamine Addiction

Similar to Cocaine addiction, methamphetamine addiction is a difficult but treatable problem. There are medications available to treat methamphetamine addiction, in combination with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Call to schedule your appointment today, and let the experts at Evolve Addiction Medicine help.

Nicotine / Tobacco Addiction

We treat nicotine addiction with Chantix® (Varenicline), a medication that helps with nicotine craving and withdrawal symptoms. It also blocks the effects of nicotine from tobacco. If you smoke while taking Varenicline, the medication lowers the sense of satisfaction you get from smoking, improving the odds you will quit. Varenicline does not contain nicotine and does not help you quit smoking in the same way nicotine replacement therapy does. You start taking Varenicline one week before quitting and is taken for a total of 12 weeks. A second 12-week cycle may be completed if necessary. We prescribe Varenicline to help you quit smoking. It is not available over-the-counter. Varenicline has not been studied in children and is not recommended to help them quit smoking. Varenicline doubles or triples the chances of quitting smoking. It has been shown to work better than other medications for smoking cessation.

MDMA / Ecstasy Addiction

Similar to methamphetamine addiction, MDMA/Ecstasy addiction can be a difficult problem to treat. However, there are medications available which can be used. Call today to learn how our board-certified physicians can help.

Marijuana Addiction

Marijuana can be addictive. If you have a desire to stop using marijuana, please call to discuss treatment options.

Hallucinogen / LSD Addiction

There are medications available to treat hallucinogen dependence. Please call to schedule an appointment and discuss how we can help.

Inhalant Addiction

Although addiction to inhalants is rare, it does happen. The treatment is primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). There are also medications which can be used in conjunction with CBT. Let us see how we may help.

Outpatient Medical Detox

MEDICALLY SUPERVISED WITHDRAWAL: We offer outpatient medical detoxification in the privacy of our office. Our physicians work with you privately, formulating a taper schedule that’s completed over the course of weeks, a week, or a weekend, weaning patients off the substance of abuse. This allows patients to avoid admission to an inpatient detox facility and provides a more personalized, less public experience. Private detoxification is evaluated on a case by case basis. Please call to discuss rates and treatment options.

Experts in detoxifying patients from alcohol, heroin, and prescription pain killers such as Oxycontin®, Percocet®, Norco®, Vicodin®, Lortab®, morphine, Dilaudid®, and Ultram®. We also provide outpatient medical detoxification for Xanax® (alprazolam), Ativan® (lorazepam), Klonopin® (clonazepam), Valium® (diazepam), phenobarbital, and Ambien®.

Relapse Prevention Medications

We offer three prescription medications for the prevention of relapse on opioids and alcohol: Revia® (naltrexone), Antabuse® (disulfiram), and Campral® (acamprosate). Naltrexone prevents and blocks cravings for opioids and alcohol. It also blocks the pleasurable effects or rewards experienced when opioids and alcohol are consumed. Antabuse® works through negative feedback causing headaches, facial flushing, tachycardia, nausea, and sometimes vomiting when alcohol is consumed. Campral® reduces alcohol cravings.

Medical Detoxification

Superior to other methods of detoxification (such as social detoxification) because it decreases the risk of medical complications of withdrawal and provides more comfort to patients as they go through the withdrawal process. Our physicians offer outpatient medical detoxification from alcohol in the privacy of our office, your home, hotel room, or the place of your choosing.
